In the beginning of the 70-th years in reply to the American program of creation supersonic strategic bomber A-1A in USSR was conducted competition of the projects multimode strategic bomber with a wing of changed geometry. In 1980 the first copy new bomber, received a title Tu-160 was constructed. In 1981 Tu-160 for the first time was lifted in an air. In 1986 at the Kazan airfactory the assembly serial Tu-160 began. In 1987 the first serial machine has arrived in AF. According to the initial plans, it was supposed to manufacture a series from 100 Tu-160, however now on financial reasons the order have reduced up to 40 machines. Tu-160 - largest from all before created as in USSR, and abroad bombers. The plane is executed under the integrated scheme with smooth interface of a wing and fuselage. The wing of changed geometry ensures flight on various structures, saving high performances both on supersonic, and on a subsonic velocity. Bomber has all-moving vertical and horizontal installations, that in a combination to integrated arrangement and low disposition of crew considerably reduces EPR. A feature of a construction of a glider is the titanum
beam representing total kesson with points of a turn of consoles of a wing. To a beam which is taking place through all plane, fasten ana main force elements of a glider. Bomber “hose - cone” is equipped by a system of refuelling in an air of a type. The receiving bar(boom) fueltank receiver in a non-working position is cleaned(removed) in a nose of a fuselage before a cabin of the pilots. The crew Tu-160 places in two two-place cabins equipped with the seats K-36DM. In an extreme back part of a fuselage is located thermal locator, discovering coming nearer with an aft hemisphere missiles and planes of the enemy. The total number of digital processors which are being available onboard a plane, exceeds 100. The job of the navigation officer is completed by 8 digital COMPUTERS. The crew cabins are equipped with electromechanical indicators and indicators on ELT. Each from the pilots has on one information indicator on ELT. For the first time in a jet airstructure for management of the serial heavy machine the handle of interceptor type, instead of steering wheel is applied. For improving conditions of a habitability for want of intercontinental flights bomber is equipped with a sleeping place, toilet, by elctronic cabinet for warming up of food. Structurally Tu-160 is close American strategic bomber A-1, but in difference from him(it) all combat load bears on the internal suspension, that considerably reduces EPR of a plane. The plane is equipped with threebased chassis with twin bottles on sprockets. Main racks threebase, forward rack monoaxial. Tu-160 can be used not only as usual bomber, but also as a peculiar first stage for a conclusion in space satellites. In this case under a fuselage the special winged rocket “Burlak” is suspended. This combination allows to start to polar orbits of height 500-700 kms the companions by a mass of 300-500 kgs with the minimum costs. Heavy multimode, multiple objective strategic bomber Tu-160 on a unanimous evaluation of the experts is by the most high-power strategic aviation complex in the world.

In 1969 the pilot - tester V. Borovoy piloted first newest supersonic bomber, created by Tupolev's ANTK. In 1976 new bomber Tu-22M, was accepted in service in SovietAF.
Modifications:
Tu-22M2, changed air intakes and installation in a tail part two twinbarrel guns GSh-25.
Tu-22M3 was equipped with new air intakes based on air intakes of the plane Mig-25, new onboard electronic equipment and changed defensive arms (twinbarrel gun GSh-23M with the vertical block of trunks and enlarged rate of fire up to 4000 rds).
Tu-22M3 is intended for a defeat of the ground and marine targets by supersonic missiles /airbombs in the day and night in any meteorological conditions. For these purposes the plane is equipped with the high-power onboard electronic equipment including high-power radar, ensuring detection of the ground and marine targets, optical-electronic bombardement sight OPB-15, inertial navigational system, active and passive systems RLS.
The communication: two UHF radio stations R-832M, SW radio station R-846 and coding equipment. combat load: bombs and missiles (5000 kgs of bombs inside and 1 X-22 on the outside hardpoint), or in variant fully missilecarring or bomber.
Engines: high-power TRDDF. In a dorsal fin the auxiliary power plant TA-6, ensuring start TRAA and power supply BREO irrespective of air field sources is placed. The plane is equipped with a system of saving crew KT-1.
The ejection can be both forced for any member of crew. Tu-22M3 have the good take-off and landing and accelerating performances. The chassis threebased, with twin bottles. The main chassis - threeax, nose - monoaxial.

In the beginning of 50-th years in Tupolev's OKB the work on creation strategic bomber with intercontinental distance of flight have begun. In 1952 the first flight of the new plane which has received the label Tu-95 was held.
In 1956 Tu-95 was accepted in service. By a feature of the new machine was the application of a wing and main, for the first time in practice of world aircraft construction for planes of such class, installation of turbofan drives. The new drives NK-12M were created in Kuznetsov OKB. TVD two coaxial screws in the opposite parties were supplied by differential reduction gearboxes, gyratings. The propellant consumption of new drives made only 0.207 kgs (h.p. h).
Resource(safe life) new TVD. Has appeared in 10 times more, than at any other modern drive used on bombers, including foreign. Tu-95 represents jet with four TVD, located in wings. The chassis of a plane(airplane) threebased, with twin bottles. Main racks - biaxial, covering in flight in wings (that is 'famly' by feature of majority of Tupolev's machines), the nose rack - monoaxial, closed on “stream” in a fuselage. From below in the middle of fuselage the doors large place. In the first updatings Tu-95 “air - ground”, one of X-22, suspended under centreplane in half-dive condition, and two rockets KSR-5 on pylons under a wing was equipped by 3 rockets. In variant bomber Tu-95 could bear inside up to 20 t of bombs. In a nose Tu-95 the bar(boom) fueltank is placed nonclosed.
In reply to reequipment by the Americans strategic bombers ?-52 by winged rockets ALCM, in USSR in 1981 the new updating bomber - Tu-95MS is accepted in service. Tu-95MS is intended for a defeat by winged rockets of the important stationary objects in the day and night in any meteorological conditions and in any point of globe. In difference from Tu-95 the upgraded machine has a new wing with a more high-speed structure.
The new stabilizer is installed, now it can automatically, depending on a modification of a centre-of-gravity position connected to development(manufacture) combustible, to change an angle of installation. Onboard avionics is replaced completely. Two onboard COMPUTERS are included in structure of the latter. The onboard means REF are upgraded. The main modifications concern shock arms. In bombs tank the drum-type launcher equipped with 6 with the winged rockets RKV-15B with distance of shooting 2500 kms is installed. The construction Tu-95MS was developed at the Samara airfactory.
The Cubes, Angola, Somalia and Vietnam based Tu-95, apart from USSR, on air bases. It enabled strategic staff of USSR effectively to inspect practically any point of globe. To the beginning of the 90-th years all of Tu-95 from foreign basises were introduced. Tu-126 was intended for detection of the air targets, beginning with average altitudes. Now Tu-95MS is a basis of air strategic forces of Russia.

Меня прикололо в заявлении одного военного из НАТО, сделанное после недавних совместных учений Россия-НАТО по перехвату условных ядерных ракет.. Типа то, что надо русским военным учить английский, чтобы совместно работать. Самое интересное, что по перехвату ракет в этом полушарии у американцев ничего нет и фактически своих союзников по НАТО они не в состоянии защитить. Поэтому Россия использует свой ресурс и оборудование и реально прикрывает Европу. Как говорится - "прицепом". Реальные угрозы допустим Корея и Иран, можно подключить Пакистан... Возник вопрос, почему бы уважаемым Господам не выучить РУССКИЙ. Кстати, учения проходили на территории России. Хотят совместно работать..., там более в их же интересах... Пусть УЧАТ...
