That pod is LORAP KA-112A system -long-range aerial panoramic photographic system .This system has been developed to meet the requirements for an operational system which can acquire reconnaissance intelligence from a long-range side-looking vantage point(from 10km altitude it can photograp object on 110km distance). The heart of the LORAP airborne system is a KA-112A panoramic camera produced by Fairchild.Other equipment is produced by Huges while container is german (Messerschmidt)
From January 1984. one L-15M (MiG-21MF) was modifed to carry this system at overhaul plant Zmaj and tested at ''Aviation test centre'/Ваздухопловни опитни центар,Батајница(today TOC-Технички опитни центар)and after succesfull testing period it entered in service of Yugoslav Air Force(15. junе 1984.) and it was succefully used by 352.ИАЕ (извиђачка авијацијска ескадрила) -recce squadron from Zeljava Air Base near Bihac
