Довольно часто зав. № на Ми-8 пишется на стыке хвостовой балки и "киля".
Если его там нет, конечно, сложно.
Тогда надо открывать люк на левой стороне фюзеляжа, недалеко от верхней опоры шасси и илюминаторов. Там зав. № написан.

Вот что пишут специалисты: "Construction numbers on a Mi-8 are to be found inside an inspection flap at the left side, towards the rear, to the outside of the passenger cabin; also the stencilled construction number is on the rear of the floor plate where the clam shell doors meet the floor when closed. Not actually on the floor but on the 7-8 cm rim that runs between the base of the floor plate on the inside of the cabin and the outer skin on the bottom of the helicopter."
