Hello,

Iraq received 16 aircraft in two batches.
The transfer of MiG-21 aircraft to Iraq was interrupted because of the Coup on 08 February 1963 (also known as the Ramadan Revolution)

The first batch had serials 522 - 531 (10 aircraft) and were delivered in June 1962 (Gorki built)
These planes had the SRO-1 IFF antenna on the upper fuselage.

Are these construction numbers assumed or from documents ?????

The second batch had serials 532 - 537 (6 aircraft) and were delivered in October 1963.
The second batch aircraft had NO SRO-1 IFF antenna on the upper fuselage.

Serial 534 defected to Israel on 16 August 1966 (and later to USA and serialed 68-0965). This plane had c/n 1104 (Moscow built)

This batch is MOST LIKELY (C/n 1101 is Bulgarian AF 501, del September 1963):
532 741102 (743001102 ?)
533 741103 (743001103 ?)
534 741104 (743001104 ?)
535 741105 (743001105 ?)
536 741106 (743001106 ?)
537 741107 (743001107 ?)
