Все же участники событий утверждают что попаданий не было. Вот выдержка из книги "The B-45 Tornado: An Operational History of the First American Jet Bomber", John C. Fredriksen.: - "On April 9, 1951, Simmons and Carrington waged what was probably Detachment As most celebrated scrape in North Korean skies. According to Carrington, "One day, over Andong, and right along the bridge that the B-29s bombed all day, a flight of MiGs caught us. Al Simmons had decided that I would fly co-pilot for him; when I looked back there were two MiGs sitting there firing at us. We did not know their exact armament, but I knew it was cannon. I turned around in my seat and was up on my knees with my movie camera. I tried to pull it back but it was hooked on the trottle. As Al would push the throttles and I'd jerk back — I never did get a picture of them. But anyway I told Al, 'Don't move — they're locked on and they'll never hit us from where they are now. Don't you make a move' So the first guy was firing by himself — two F-86s went by him and he yonked up, went back, and bailed out. Then his wingman started firing — same thing, I told Al again, 'Don't ... move ...' and the navigator could see the tracers going down the centerline of our aircraft. But he exhausted his ammunition and two F- 86s made a pass at him and he never let up on the trigger — they didn't hit him. So we went down the river photographing and I think the F-86s were out of fuel — the MiGs also turned back. We finished the mission and went on home. But that was the only time they bothered us. Still, Carrington could not believe the abysmal marksmanship of MiG pilots. Once back at Yokota, he inspected the aircraft closely for possible damage. Sergeant Mangum recalled Carrington's reactions all too well. "I had to get a huge aero stand and roll it around that airplane for him to look, and Carrington declared 'They had to hit us, but we didn't find one mark." Т.е.
