Trumpeter F-100 в 48-м!!

Ну что, в наличии все три версии C-D-F. Если мне не изменяет память Трампетером был заявлен только F-100C -остальные Хоббибоссом.
Трумп скопировал не моньку, а себя любимого -даунскейлинг 32-ого масштаба. Особо его не ругают, кстати, только для воздухозаборника есть корректирующий набор -вроде бы трамп не учел там наплыв радара и несколько переврал форму овала самого воздухозаборника. Остальное, что я знаю, не так существенно. Насчет выбрасывать моньку -постой паровоз. Посмотрим, что там будет с нишами и стойками-колесами. Рамки с вооружением тут явно не хватает, хотелось бы бонб и прочей радости...
Вот кстати Бен Браун перечислил детские болезни модели в 32-ом. Что-то особо меня ничего не напугало :-)
-Pitot tube is too fat. More like 1/24 scale. Easy to fix with brass tube.
-Bottom of the intake is flat, should be rounded (Zacto and Renaissance have resin replacements)
-Cockpit is so-so for a 1/32 kit. Lots of nit-picky problems in the pit. The big one is the aft bulkhead is too far aft. (Aires and Avionix don't fix this. Harold?) Couple that with...
-Ammo bays are too far forward. The front bulkhead of the bays and the aft cockpit bulkhead should be the same piece of metal. Can't fix this without major surgery, because the rear deck has a slight curve that is repeated on the canopy.
-Main gear wells are too shallow. Can't fix 'em because...
-Wings are too thin. They're not much thicker than the Monogram kit's.
-Main gear struts are too long (~4mm) & too fat. Nose gear strut is OK.
-Main gear tires are too large in diameter. Wheels are OK. (Renaissance to the rescue!)
-Engine is pure fiction.
-Ordnance is wrong for the F-100. The ECM pod was only carried during a test at Eglin AFB.
-The 275-gal drop tanks are 1/4" too short, forward of the pylon. They're too blunt, too. The fins could use some reshaping. If you want to build a post-1964 jet, with the 335-gal tanks, you'll need to add a 28" plug forward of the pylon. Looks like this is repeated in the 1/48 kits. In all fairness, the Monogram kit also only has the 275s.
-Nothing on the decal sheet is useable. They've even got Cyrillic (sp?) lettering!
-For the really picky: the tail is a couple of mm too broad in chord. The fuel tank vent fairing is too short by the same amount. (Both easy to fix.)
-The rivets are a matter of taste. Personally, I think they're way overdone. PITA to remedy.
