The usage of all-uppercase prefixes (e.g. "FW" vs. "Fw") was also inconsistent, but the official guideline was mixed-case with a few authorized exceptions (e.g. "BV"). In this document I use the nomenclature as shown in the standard reference source [1].
Короче говоря, исключения были. На германоязычных сайтах, вроде, заглавными пишут.
